Are you up to the challenges that life can throw your way?

The Knight of Wands

Are you up to the challenges that life can throw your way?

I thought I’d draw a single card as a segue into my upcoming Tarot and Meditation series. Using a single card to help you focus is a great way to open your mind.

Knight of Wands

I drew the Knight of Wands for myself on Sunday morning. I meditated, thought about it, and then wrote down my thoughts. I’ve tidied up those thoughts, and they are below.

Within an hour of finishing the text below, I found out I’d need to be going off to Texas to help a family member come back home. They’ve faced some health challenges in the past few months that might make it unsafe for them to travel back on their own.

I’m not particularly eager to fly, period. No Questions. That’s it. I am not doing it, and not going to happen.

Guess what? I’m flying. Why? Because the challenge that is facing me isn’t about me. It is about accepting that there are times when we must reach beyond our visions, expectations, and desires to help someone else. I could have taken a bus or a train, both a one-day trip. By flying, I can get to Texas in under 7 hours and be there to help. Bonus, the plane ticket is cheaper. Yes, there are concerns about traveling. Yes, when I return, I will need to self-quarantine. We all make choices, and I think these are the right choices for the situation.

The Knight of Wands was put in my path by the Universe at a time I would need it. The Universe knew that the Knight of Wands was required ahead of time so that I would have the opportunity to think about how I handle decisions. Could I decide how to take a challenge without looking back at failures and stressing over the past?

Why? The Universe wanted me to look at what I could do, what is possible, and what I am capable of before making the decision. The Universe was letting me know I don’t have to stay rooted in my past. I can manage to move forward.

(I still don’t plan to make flying part of my usual transportation methods. But I know I can do it if I need to.)

Here are my notes on the Knight of Wands I wanted to share with you.

The Knight of Wands moves forward; he is intelligent and ready for what may come next. The Knight of Wands stands against the unpredictability of the times. Is the Knight of Wands challenging to move through the tough times?

A reading with the Knight of Wands might indicate travel. The Knight of Wands in a leader, are you the leader in your life? Are you ready to step up and take the leadership role in your own life?

A reading with the Knight of Wands might indicate travel. The Knight of Wands in a leader, are you the leader in your life? Are you determined to stay strong? Knowing your life and your inner self will keep you in control.

Rely on the Knight of Wands as a reminder that your goals are within reach with perseverance, strength, and determination. Looking forward is the key. Don’t look back at your situations; look towards the future. You can succeed by using your knowledge to overcome the challenges you face.

From a young age, I wasn't one to dive into the sports section of the paper – my heart was hooked on the mystical charm of horoscope pages. This early fascination set the stage for a life entwined with the enchanting world of Tarot, Astrology, Runes, Numerology, and other magical arts. These mystical paths didn't just pique my interest; they became the heartbeat of my professional journey and the secret sauce to truly relishing my work. After all, the ultimate gig is one that never really feels like work, right? I see life not as a rigid sculpture set in stone, but rather as a meandering stream, constantly shaped and reshaped by the forces of the future ahead and the past trailing behind. Each twist and turn, every ripple and wave in this stream, is a moment in our lives, offering a gentle push, a momentary pause, or a subtle direction change.
